Gary and Louise provided fantastic service from start to finish—everything was explained clearly, with no hidden surprises. The whole process was smooth, hassle-free, and very professional. They were accommodating throughout, and I couldn’t fault a single thing. Highly recommended, and I’ll be telling all my friends and family about this place!”

Purchased a little Toyota from SMC on 12/07/25, and it was the best experience I have had in purchasing a car. There is no annoying salesperson on your shoulder as you browse the showroom and check the cars over; absolutely no sales pressure. I requested a test drive, and Gary handed over the keys to just me and my better half, which allowed adequate private time to get a feel if it was the right car for my partner. Took the Toyota for a spin and an evaluation, returned to the showroom, had a chat with Gary about the car, where we noticed a couple of scratches and grazes that had occurred during the car's servicing and MOT in the workshop. Gary immediately said "I can't sell it to you like that.." and offered to get his paint technician to rectify the scratches at zero cost to us. The car was delivered free of charge via a flatbed truck to my home address (17 miles away) on 14/07/25. Our old car, which had suffered a terminal, catastrophic engine fault and was effectively kerbside scrap, was then taken away by SMC on the same flatbed. Gary has offered to get us some money back for the scrap value. We will take our new car back to SMC to have the scratches painted soon (since the paint tech was on holiday), where SMC have offered to provide a courtesy car whilst the work is conducted. I'm glad I read the online reviews of SMC - which is what drew me to them in the first place - because they were proven to be correct. I'd highly recommend this dealership if you want a first class, friendly service and without the annoying sales talk.

Before purchasing my car through Stocksfield Motors, I must have called or messaged five dealerships, attempting to get final information on the cars that I was interested in. Everything seemed like hard work and something always slightly off. I then came across a car I fell in love with at Stocksfield Motors. I made a trip down to see it purely based on a wonderful and refreshing call. The customer service that I received from Louise and Gary was beyond expectation. I can honestly say they are running a little gem of a business there, where they put their customers first. This is what buying a car should feel like. Transparency, professionalism and customer care. Five stars from me!!!

Highly recommended, professional, very easy purchase, you can see they take pride in their service and so they should, was excellent, this company provides a service that all company's should aspire to, but so many sadly do not.

Buying a used car can be a daunting experience and buying it sight unseen even more so . I live in Scotland 150 miles away from Stocksfield and spoke to both Garry an Louise regarding a Cascada convertible they had for sale . I needn't have worried both were very helpful and honest in describing the car . I spoke to them on the Monday setting the wheels in motion and on Wednesday drove down to Stocksfield and within an hour , after a test drive , was on my way back with my freshly MOT'd and taxed new car . All in all a pleasant pain free experience in buying a used car .

After a long search, I purchased a 62 plate white Ford Fiesta on the 10th May 2023. Garry and Louise were absolutely superb. No hidden agenda, transparency, and integrity. What they didn’t know, was how important this particular car was to me. Seven years ago I had a life changing accident, that left me fighting for my life, and learning to walk and talk again. I worked for a FTSE 100 company at the time, I drove new cars off the forecourt, I had a comfortable lifestyle, and I was serendipitous and spontaneous. All that changed within minutes, when I rescued my 7 month old Labrador puppy, Dylan from a rapid river. Garry and Louise are prestigious, honest, professional, and trustworthy. And that’s very hard to find with any dealership. And they don’t laugh at you when a young mechanic tells you your car bonnet release is missing - Long story 🤣🤣 Thank you for getting us back on the road guys! 🤩

We recently purchased a Citroen C3 Picasso from Stocksfield Motor Company & couldn't be more pleased with the car & the fantastic service given by Louise & Garry from purchase to collection. Their level of customer care is matched to the attention they give to cars they are selling. We will look at this garage first for any future car purchase & would be happy to recommend.

I bought myself a Ford focus estate from stocksfield motor company and the experience was excellent! I dealt with Gary and Louise ( Gary on sales and Louise sorted my finance) The car has been prepared to a very high standard both cosmetically and mechanically. The car had it's timing belt replaced and water pump also they fitted a new battery and gave the car a service, also a advisory free mot. Gary and Louise are extremely friendly people and very easy to deal, I highly recommend these guys they are superb.
